WATER-GAS PIPES

Water-gas pipes are already defined by their name. These pipes are designed for the flow liquids and gases at low pressures. These pipes are manufactured in accordance with the European Union standard EN 10255. Pipes are suitable for crimping and welding (to install elbows, fittings, etc. if it is necessary) also these pipes are used for general engineering works.

Unlike construction pipes, these pipes are usually named according to the nominal (assumed) internal diameter in millimetres, and not according to the external diameter. For example, a DN20 pipe will have an outer diameter of 26,9 mm. The walls of such a pipe may have 3 thicknesses (2.0mm; 2.3mm; 3.2mm), so the inner diameter will be 22.9mm, 22.3mm or 20.5mm.

These sizes are used for the manufacture of structural accessories/fittings, so when designing/preparing a product/structure/system where elbows, flanges, blinds and other accessories will be needed, pipes should be selected exactly according to the sizes indicated in the table below.
