EN 10219

Hot-dip galvanized rectangular and square pipes are steel pipes made according to the EN 10219 (structural) standard, which are then immersed in hot zinc baths. In this way the pipes are coated with a thin but strong layer of zinc. Such pipes can be immediately used both outside and for outdoor work.

EN 10305

Electrogalvanized pipes are steel pipes coated with a thin layer of zinc by electroplating, manufactured according to standard EN 10305 (precision). These pipes are designed for additional coverage. After they are painted or varnished compared to non-galvanized precision pipes and by that increased corrosion resistance is obtained.
